I’m in band this trimester, and my selection was the flute. It’s only a Woodwind band. The other options were clarinet, saxophone, trombone, baritone, and trumpet. I filled out a survey, and chose flute, clarinet, and saxophone. It didn’t really matter to me which instrument I got, but now I’m really happy with my choice. I love to whistle, so it works out. In band right now, we’re learning the song Dragon Dance for our upcoming concert! We already learned Ode to Joy from Beethoven’s Final Symphony. Fun fact, Beethoven went deaf after his fourth symphony, but still wrote another 5 entire symphonies! Anyway, our concert is in May, but I’m not sure the total number of songs we’re going to perform.
